Grady Summers — Artist
Grady Summers  ·  Hutto, TX
woodburning colored pencil pencil drawing pen and ink

He didn't set out to be an artist. He just never stopped making things.

For as long as his family can remember, Grady Summers has been at the table or beside his easel — working quietly, patiently, on something that mattered. He spent time with his family first. And then, after everyone was taken care of, he would sit down and create.

His subjects have always been the things he loves — family, faith, history, machines, the land. He has woodburned portraits of people he cherishes, landscapes that hold memory, and machines that represent a time worth remembering. Each piece chosen not because someone asked, but because something in him said yes.

Grady has been married for 52 years. His faith runs deep. And his eye for detail — the kind that takes hours to earn and seconds to feel — is something that cannot be taught and cannot be rushed.

Recently he decided it was time to share his work with a wider world. Not because he needed to. Because the people who have seen what he can do kept telling him someone out there is waiting for exactly this.

His best inspiration is you.
